About The Artist:
“I enjoy the making of things. The poking, prodding and the pushing, pulling. With clay it’s not just building, it’s engineering. In the end you have something that can be funky, funny, beautiful and useful. A piece that sits quietly and observes or screams to be used. All this happiness from a lump of mud and I get to help it transform.”
Sally Anne has been working in clay for the past 7 years. Mostly self taught with the guidance from master potters in her area. Her studio is located in Pembroke, Massachusetts.
Sally Anne’s functional pottery is made from lead-free glazes, dishwasher safe and can be put into a non-pre-heated oven. The worst thing you can do to pottery is not use it. The second worst thing is to drop it on the floor.
